It now seems fine and to be honest probably a bit quicker. I tend to transfer photos using the Canon software then rename the folder and move that to the Lightroom area before importing it. However, I tend to agree with the others that is is not the best change Abobe has instigated. To be honest, I think most advanced users will end up turning off the Add Photos screen.
I actually like the new Source panel better than the old one. I am happy to say that I installed the latest version of LR 6. I am on a PC, Windows 7. The Import process worked well for me as well and it is quite easy to get the same process as I used before to work on the new interface.
