Best time to visit Pandawa Beach

Bali experiences two seasons: dry and wet. The dry season falls from April to September, while the rainy season extends from October to March. The best months to visit, especially if you want to head to the beach, are April, May, June, and September. These months are both less crowded and less humid than the peak months of July and August.

The rainy season generally experiences periods of heavy rain and choppier seas. However, it rarely rains continuously, and temperatures are also fairly steady and hot year-round, meaning that you can still enjoy a nice day on the beach. Plus, there will be fewer people around during the rainy season as well.

As long as the sun is shining, almost any day can be a good day to visit Pandawa Beach. If you want to avoid the crowds, then consider going on a weekday as well as earlier in the morning or later in the evening. The beach is always most lively on weekend afternoons.

Facilities At The Beach

Big white walls along the coastline of Kuta beach with Balinese architecture is also a key attraction to the place. The wall was built by the local administration in 2011 to block sand from blown away to restaurants & cafe built on opposite side fo Kuta Beach Bali.

Some people consider these walls are blocking the view of Kuta beach, but some people find it as useful because the sand is not going to the road or restaurant. To maintain the cleanest of Kuta beach, small vendors are not allowed to sell food on the beach.

TicketEntrance Fee For Pandawa Beach

As most of the tourist spots in Bali have some nominal changes and entrance fee to visit the place. The Pandawa beach is not different from them and has a charge to visit the beach. As you are coming to the beach via road you will see an entrance gate where all these charges are taken and you need to pay there to visit the beach.

The entrance fee to visit the Pandawa beach is 15,000/- IDR for visitors, except that you only need to pay the parking charges for your car or scooter. Parking charges for cars is 5,000/- IDR and for Scooter, it is 2,000/- IDR.


Pandawa beach is located at the southernmost part of Bali and you can easily reach there from anywhere in Bali. The beach is only at half an hour distance from the Uluwatu and Nusa Dua Beach. If you are coming from the airport you can easily get here by taking a cab from a private taxi. It only takes 40 minutes to reach at the Pandawa Beach from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Pandawa Beach is worth the visit even if you are staying further north in Bali. The drive from other popular areas like Seminyak and Kuta is only an hour to an hour and a half.One of the best ways to reach the beach is to rent a car for the day. The typical cost of renting a car is about 500,000 IDR per day. Cab drivers are experienced, professional, and will know how to reach the in less time.

If you want to save some money, you’re feeling adventurous, and you feel comfortable driving on two wheels, then you can opt for renting a scooter instead. Scooter rentals usually average around 50,000 IDR per day and are available at all of the main tourist areas.
